Sounds like a granuloma - very common. A bit of gristle. Has probably always been there and won't cause a problem.

My DD has a little lump like that on her belly. I cant remember when I first noticed it (she is 2 years old), but it has been there for more than a year now without changing, so I dont think her lump is anything alarming.

she isnt constipated but am starting to think it may be a symptom of coeliacs as her dad her aunt and three cousins have it and i know they did used to suffer with lumps in their bowels until they were placed on gf diets
