Pharmacist saw it last week and just shooed me out saying put Sudocream on, but it is still there. It started out abit blister like (all raised), or really more like a round burn , now it's a red ring. Any ideas? Thank you

Could be a lot of things - insect bite is likely - how big is the ring? Is it raised, weeping etc.

He couldn't have been bitten by a tick could he?

Ringworm? Does it look like this? If so, I don't know if you can get treatment over the counter.

Is it scaly?

Agree it sounds like ringworm. Do you or any of your family have contact with animals, especially farm animals eg horses or cows?

Yep, looks like that link now. UIt's actually quite wide, at first I thought it was a little burn from his bodysuit poppers (from being on the radiator ) but it's stayed and stayed and got bigger. I went to the Pharm. saying I thought it was ringworm though and she said no... it's feels dry. Can I give him anything that doesn't involve going to GP?

You must go to the GP and get special anti fungal cream if its ringworm. Its not really dangerous, but highly contagious and will spread if not treated properly.

And by the way ringworm is not a parasite but a fungal infection similar to athletes foot.

Lady - It's not actually a worm. It's a fungal infection that looks like a worm, IYSWIM. I thought it ringworm was dry and a bit scaly. This is probably a better link for you. It makes no mention of it being moist. Maybe see the dr when you can. It's not serious but it is contagious.
