Chicken Pox questions

DD started sprouting spots on Tuesday, by the end of the day she had about 25, it is now Friday and the spots are still sprouting... she is well covered in them, but they keep coming. It has been 4 days now. Some of the original spots are beginning to crust over. Is it meant to take this long for all the spots to come out?

Once all the spots have crusted/scabbed over, is she then ok to be out and about? How do I know when she isn't contagious anymore?

She is perfectly well in herself (no fever, grottiness etc), I'm guessing the itching I've read about is still to come...or could she be very lucky and not get the itching?

Final question! She has a few right in the corner of her eyes, if she rubs the pus in her eyes is this going to cause any damage to the eyes?

Many many thanks.

She is no longer infectious once the last spot has scabbed over. They can keep coming over the course of about 5-7 days but I find that the majority of spots are 'out' by about 5 days.

If she feels well and isn't itching then she is one of the lucky ones! My DDs 1 and 2 itched terribly, but despite being covered head to toe DD3 didn't itch much at all.

Not sure about the eye thing, probably best for her to avoid rubbing them and if she gets blister fluid in her eye then rinse it gently. Chicken pox spots are usually filled with a clear fluid rather than pus though, so if hers have pus in it might not be CP but something else?
