I feel sad

DD is only 5.6 and she has a wobbly tooth already.

Surely is it too early??

Her brother was 6 iirc when he lost his first tooth, in year 2 I think.

Aw, DD was 6.5yo and was the last in her class.

DS has just discovered his first wobbly tooth at 4.5yo.

It made me sad too and was worse when the first tooth fell out.

My dd1 isn't yet 5 and has a wobbly tooth. I was so surprised, it didn't occur to me that this would happen. I lost my first tooth on my fifth birthday.

how long do they stay wobbly for?

DD's started wobbling just after we moved, must have been Octoberish. She lost it on January 1st.

They can come out a lot quicker than that though. Sometimes my children have wobbly teeth for weeks and sometimes they go wobbly and come out literally within the space of a few days.

aww, don;t feel sad.

just out of interest, did your DD teeth earlier than DS??

DD3 had her teeth thru a lot wuicker than any of my others, and so lost them quicker too.

DS2 however took forever to get teeth, and still now has only lost his first two bottom ones, and he is 6.6yrs now. DD3 had lost 8 by the time she was 6.6yrs!!!

OMG I am feeling very badmothery now. I have not got a clue when my DCs teeth fell out. The only reason I know when their teeth started to wobble is that it was just after we moved to Geneva.

I think I wrote it down somewhere in one of DD's 4 baby books, but poor DS did not even have one baby book so I don't have a clue.

My dentist said that the later the better as they are the last teeth that the DC will ever get.

You are not bad.

I have nothing from when I was a baby. Don't know first word, when I walked or anything so a bit over the top with my Dcs!

I did set out meaning to write these things down but I am not a very organised person. Well done you for doing it. It is really nice to have a record later.

Interesting though, that your DD got her first tooth later than her brother but then soon caught up and had her 4th tooth before he had his. She had 4 teeth within 11 weeks. I hope she did not suffer too much.

She was okay but I should have rubbed gauze on her gums like I did her brother as he cut teeth with only one sleepless night. Less time to do it with DS2 too and we knew about his teeth coming.
