pain behind one eye - help me google the answer

ds1 is 6 and on and off over the last few weeks has complained of pain behind one eye, worse with light and eased a bit with aromatherapy oils (the kind you use when you've got a chesty cough)
he just seems to get it at night then is fine in the morning, no cold or cough or anything else
so - worth a trip to the gp or not?

i would go and see an optician tbh, rather than GP.

don't google it! you'll only end up worrying yourself

good chance it's eye strain morocco. I've been at the opticians this week with pain behind my eyes. I've now got an astigmatism and need glasses. optician said it was undoubtedly eye strain.

I had this problem too. It was eyestrain, I just needed a stronger prescription.

oh i reckon def a connection. esp as it's at night.,
I guess eye strain during the day is taking its toll and it's aching by the end of the day!
talk to his opthalmologist

Morocco, Do Not Google!
Make an appointment with a child friendly optometrist on Monday. I'd do it myself but you'd have to come to Dublin!
