2 yr old ds complaining of a sore willy

and complaining when he wees. I cant get to the doctors before tomorrow afternoon, so I was wondering if anyone could suggest anything to help?
It does look a little bit red...

sounds like ballinitis[sp] which is an infection in foreskin thats how ds always started then tends to swell up and might leak pus. They give a cream that clears it up quite quickly.

rubyruby - lol. great idea, but not sure ds would actually let me dunk his willy in salt water at the mo. He has just hit the terrible 2s with a vengeance...

Put him in a warm bath to wee (he will wee in it anyway!). Then he won't feel the pain of salty urine on his sore bits so much.

ring nhs direct for advice, keep him well hydrated so urine isnt strong and stings less when he wees. my ds had similar symptoms when he was this age and had antibiotics GP nearly referred him to hospital but luckily he didnt have to go. However if he stops weeing you have to take him to A&E.
