Feeding weirdly, hair pulling and cheek rubbing

5-month-old DD suddenly going from taking full 5oz feeds to snacking all day in small 1oz doses. I think she's taking the same amount of milk overall but she keeps crying on the bottle.

She also keeps yanking her hair out and scratching her head and rubbing her cheek on one side (this is now red but I can't tell if it's red because she keeps rubbing it or if it's an actual symptom).

Could this be teething? If it is it seems like her back teeth are coming first, which is weird. Teething gel doesn't seem to help. :(

I also considered an ear infection but she's not got a fever.

She doesn't otherwise seem distressed but feeds and nap time have seemed to become slightly traumatic for her as she keeps herself awake scratching her head and tugging on her hair.

Has anyone experienced this?

Sounds like teeth to me. Has she got any bumps on her gums?
