I've noticed it for a while, mostly over her stomach & Im not sure if it's something I should be concerned about or not as she does have health problems & isn't overweight & I don't remember having it at that age - though like DD, would probably be very unaware of it if I did.

DD clearly hasn't noticed & is comfortable with it, which is good & makes me hope her friends maybe have it too & it's just an age thing

It seems worse though & she has recently been hospitalised with a blockage in her intestines, on top of allergic Colitis, so I wondered about toxin build up in her system - she also has Ehlers Danlos, which is a collagen defect

That said I never had cellulite at all until combination of post pregnancy hormones & then peri menopause hormones kicked off my own EDS symptoms - so though I know it's quite normal, for me, cellulite has become linked to ill health - IYSWIM

Should I be worried about this in DD from a health point of view ??

Some people will always have some cellulite, even if slim, if that's their bodies tendency for storing body fat. Allow cellulite can be caused by unhealthy diet or lifestyle it isn't always, cellulite is quite normal. I first noticed I had cellulite when I was about 16 and a size 6. I have just as much now 11 years later, although I'm now a size 16 and there's a lot more 'normal' fat. I don't think it's to do with ill health as much as it is to do with genetics and lifestyle, tbh.

Thanks for the reply - that makes sense, but genetics & lifestyle wouldn't really makes sense for her, as she's a very healthy eater, we all are & genetically neither side had cellulite either
