Hey! Every evening I have to give my DS 5months old reflux medicine. He takes omeprazole liquid 10mg in 5ml. The stuff is absolutely foul.

He screams and screams and crys when I give it to him, resulting in him choking and spluttering more than once during the dosage. I use a calpol syringe and try as best I can to squirt little bits into his cheeks. I have a on pinning him down in my arms to even get to his face he hates it so much.
I absolutely dread the time to give it him.

Any tips ?? We aren't weaning him yet so he's only taking milk.. Can I mix with milk maybe ??

does he have a dummy? It is possible to pull the dummy out slightly and slide the syringe in to give the meds down into his cheek
