Could dd have glandular fever?

My dd who is just 7 has had repeated tonsillitis requiring antibiotics since Sept.

She has it again now and has very swollen glands, headache, painful neck, high temp, dizziness and is very tired and irritable.

She saw the doctor on Thurs and was prescribed antibiotics and told to take pain relief as needed. DH took her to the doctor and asked about blood tests etc as she has been so unwell the last few months but the GP dismissed his concerns.

I'm starting to think something else is going on and am wondering about glandular fever.

I'll be taking her back to the doctor on Tues if she is no better and am going to ask about GF.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of it or any ideas about why dd keeps getting so ill.

Thanks.

Afaik glandular fever, whilst making you run down, wouldn't require any treatment other than whAt she's had.
