My DD has had two very large verruca's for around twelve months. They are both the size of a baked bean and painful. We saw the doctor who was useless and so went to the pharmacist for advice. Over the ten months we have used a liquid treatment (can't remember the name), bazzuca, a freezing thing and a Boots verruca treatment.
Just before Christmas we saw a Chiropodist who recommended keeping it covered with duct tape (which doesn't stick), sticking banana skin to her feet overnight twice a week, and every ten days using Avoca.
We have done this for three months, having seen the chiropodist inbetween who told us to continue this method as it's the most successful.
We are going back in June, but honestly the verruca's look worse if anything. They are huge and have lots of black dots in each and stick out of her foot. They hurt her and she constantly limps.
Can anyone please offer any helpful advice. I feel so sorry for her.
