HELP - my 6 week old has a cough and blocked nose

My baby started with sniffles 2 weeks ago and then it got worse about 10 days ago, he is very snotty and was lethargic and not feeding well. Anyway he picked up Wednesday but now he seems to have got worse again, he is crying like he is in pain in his belly and stretching his legs an arms out and he had dihoria last night, can they get bad belly from the phlem? I presume he will be swallowing most of it as sometimes he is sick and it's all phlem. He is very unsettled and it's not like him to cry for long periods. Iv been using saline drops for over a week and they work for about an hour. He is refusing feeds and having an ounce every now and again he has only had 4 oz since last night (it's now 15.18pm) please help I don't know if I can take another night of being up all night. He is sleeping all day but waking at night. I need some reasurrance that this isn't a long lasting thing

He also has a bad cough, the doctors said it was nothing to worry about :-(

Given how little he's drinking you need to get him seen today.

I phoned the health visitor and she didn't seem to think it was a problem as long as he was drinking something. I think il phone the docs then to make sure. He still as wet nappies so I know he isn't dehydrated but I don't want him to get that far x

I would take him to a and e, if you have a peadiatric A and E local even better. He is probably fine but given his age and the fact he is struggling to drink I would get him checked ASAP
