He's had the perpetual 2 yr old snotty nose since started preschool sessions in Sept.
he's had unexplained fever, sick bug followed by same sick bug three weeks later.
Last week norovirus presenting as severe diarrhoea. And to top it off he now has tonsillitis and penicillin.

His appetite has been poor for weeks, he doesn't eat breakfast.
He's skinny and pale.

What can I give him? Vitamin drops? Anyone know of anything safe for 2 yrs?

I can sympathise DD1 (2.11) has had various bugs and viruses since August. It was much the same last year, between September and March she had 4 sickness bugs, throat infections and an almost constant cough and cold.

We have been giving her chewable vitamins, which are 3+ but according to our Pharmasist is because of chocking risk not dosage and probiotic drinks - we get Aldi own brand.

We did try Abidec (sp) liquid which is vitamins and it also contains an appetite enhancer - the downside is that it tastes vile and I couldn't get DD to take it!

Hope your DS feels better soon Smile

DD is the same, I've just bought some WellKid Baby and Infant vitamins, fingers crossed she'll take it. Was considering Abidec, hope this tastes better!

OP, just scoured the shelves at Superdrug, and it seems that anything chewable is for 3+ (I'd think it was because of choking risk too), except for some bear shaped ones. DD won't eat fruit/jelly sweets though, so I know she wouldn't try those.

Anyone found chocolate-looking vitamins? Grin

Chewing is logical, hadn't thought of that.
I remember choc vits as a kid, in a squishy ball!

I pour Wellkid down DS's throat - it is brown but doesn't taste too bad - DS always wants "more" (he's 2)
