Just bought my 3 Room on the Broom,Winnie's Amazing Pumpkin and The Owl who Was Afraid of the Dark(lovely illustrations) 3 for 2 at Waterstones. All 3 are super books but the CD Rom in Room on the Broom is worth buying just for that alone.

It has a showing of the story with the words highlighted as it's read. It also has a really good book maker where you can choose pics, words and even your own text. It's got 2 games which are really good and simple just using the arrow keys. One is to collect ingredients for a spell whilst dodging the dragon. It's also got things to make and print(not looked at all) but my lot are excited about the witch/dragon snakes and ladders game in particular. Think there is a theatre to make and posters to print.

It runs well and is really simple to use and kid friendly. Highly recommend it.

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
