As asking you lot works so well I'm going to do it again.
Sis and I love walking with DS 5 years old. She can't find the pocket size books we used to use with her kids (now 21yrs & 19yrs)when walking.
Anybody know of British Wildlife books we can fit in a rucksack. Not to simple please as we would really like to spot a lot of wildlife? Cheers

We have some of the Collins Gem range that are great. Small and packed with info. This for example

I think the boys had them in the 90's. I hoped there was some things more child friendly. Also remember a Look and Learn tick off boo???!!. Thank you, if nothing else comes through I'll buy the Gem books

Are you thinking of the I-Spy books? We used to have them back in the 70s . . .

Usborne 'Spotters' range very good, and a long/thin shape easy to tuck into a bag.
