The Sure start thread reminded me we hadn't picked up dd's 18mo pack. We just got back from the library with two nice books, a pack of nice crayons, a scribble pad, a £1 book token, a lovely sheet of book plates and a numbers freeze, and a satchel to keep it all in, all for free!!
If you haven't heard about the scheme there are free books for 6mo, 18mo and a pre-school pack all from either your health visitor or the library.
