Anyone remember this book from 70's

While I was unable to sleep at last night this book popped into my head from when I was small and its been bugging me all day that I can't remember what it was called.

A young boy at school has hurt his finger or thumb and has to wait to wee the school nurse as each person goes in he gets more and more frightened, but in the end the nurse bandages his finger and gives him a great big head. I think it was a lion picture book or something similar.

Please some one put me out of my misery.

I remember this one but it's very very vague. THe child is very frightened but in the end the nurse is lovely and gives him a great big bandage and he feels slly for being so scared/

It is called "Just Awful" and was published by Collins Picture Lions. Sadly now out of print. I loved that book!
