Where can I buy big books?

I love the big books they use at school and I know they are designed to be read to a group but I'd love to get a couple of the dd's favourites for at home, they are such good fun. I have looked on Amazon but can't find any, anyone know where else to look? I'd quite like Tiger who came to tea and maybe some Julia Donaldson stuff too.

I've seen a couple in my local WHSmith - Julia Donaldson ones.

They are great, and dd loves them, but the ones I've seen are about £40 each

really? oh my, I had no idea they were that expensive. Perhaps it shall remain a fantasy of mine then! good job I haven't mentioned my intentions to the dd's so as least they won't be going on about it every time we go shopping.

I think so (can't remember exact price, but remmeber being pleased to see one, picking it up, then putting back down in shock. And I don't usually skimp on book spending...)

I've seen them in places like The Works. Not very expensive either.

yes, I've seen them in The Works too - about £4 or £5 I think - but obv end of ranges

thanks, will have to visit the works too, bad news though, I always spend loads there as I never think books are a waste of money!
