Books featuring characters with glasses

We've just been told that my dd1 (just turned 5) needs glasses. I've been trying to think of children's books (or even TV programmes) featuring children who wear glasses, and apart from Harry Potter I can't think of any. Can anyone recommend any books aimed at age 5 or so featuring child characters with glasses?

People are constantly telling my ds (4) that he looks like Harry Potter. Obviously ds has no idea who that is . . .
Racking my brains about other characters though . .
You may well find that he takes to his glasses quite quickly, as they'll help him to see better and be more comfortable.

Winnie Flies Again (Winnie the witch seems popular with preschool and reception children; I've not read this one but one Amazon review says that it is "a marvellous book for persuading reluctant youngsters that it's 'cool' to wear glasses")

Arthur's Eyes

Thanks for the suggestions. DH and I wear glasses, which will help it seem normal to her. But she's really into fairies, Barbies etc at the moment and I don't think I've ever seen a picture of a fairy wearing glasses! There does seem to be a dearth of children's characters who wear glasses.

Random thoughts...

What about Fairy Four-Eyes? May be a bit old for her, and you'd need to order from Australia as it hasn't been published here yet, though.

Supposedly one of the princesses in this version of the Twelve Dancing Prinesses wears glasses.

There is an episode of Charlie and Lola about glasses, but they haven't released that far yet on DVD so you'd need to strike it lucky finding and recording it.

Ooh, I think she'd love that Dancing Princesses one!

Shame there isn't a book of that Charlie and Lola episode.

This site says the Charlie and Lola glasses episode will be shown next Wednesday, which is the very day dd1 is going back to the optician to choose her glasses.
