It's time to get your creative caps on and let your DC's imagination run wild! To celebrate the release of The Dinosaur That Pooped The Past, we're asking children to create their very own dinosaur and then show us an adventure that they've shared.

Will he be a pooping dinosaur? Will she be a superhero dinosaur? Will he be made of play dough or a cut from cardboard? We want to see pictures of your special dino on an adventure with you. He could be doing the school run, accompanying your weekly shop, or battling rubber ducks at bath time. Post your pictures here.

We're on the look out for the best dinosaurs in town and the lucky winner will receive £100 worth of Random House books and a signed copy of The Dinosaur That Pooped The Past, courtesy of Random House Children's Books.
Click here for more information about the book and how to enter.

We're also giving away 50 copies of The Dinosaur that Pooped the Past in this weeks book giveaway, click here for a chance to receive a free copy.

All my kids drew a dinosaur picture.

The first one (DC - 11 years) came up with Sweetosarus, and her adventure was her and her Sweetosaurus were on a quest to fight the evil giant galactic Gummi Bears. Suddenly she pulled out her magical sword and defeated the evil giant galactic Gummi Bears forever.

Ryland (4) took his dinosaur John on an adventure to Brighton beach today. The photo was taken just before poor John blew away - he was last seen heading for the Log Flume.

My Son and I very carefully constructed this dinosaur cake for his birthday. He was so proud of it having helped weigh out the ingredients, mix the batter and pour it into the baking trays. He then coloured the icing and put the decorations and candles on. He was so excited he pulled the tail off requiring a little Mummy DIY. I was very proud of him helping and being so excited about it.

DS who is 5 drew a dinosaur to protect his secret diary (seecrt diree kieep out). He did draw lots of adventures inside but they are meant to be secret!
He loves dinosaurs, his first recognisable picture in nursery when he had just turned 3 was a T-rex, I keep it on my desk at work Blush.

This was DSs first dino drawing from just after his 3rd birthday. As I said above it's been on my office desk ever since on a hard work adventure!

This is my 6 year old DS and his drawing of dinosaurs fighting. Their adventure is to protect DS at night and keep "ghosties and baddies" away. They do a great job! Grin
