just wondering as need to pick an induction date for when I see consultant on 2nd jan. Was going to go for monday 8th but now found out DH has a job interview on the 10th so if possibly would like to go on the 6th or 7th as from start my inductions have taken 24hrs from start to birth with both my DC. However if I then have an overnight stay it makes it complicated for the childcare of ds and dd.

I went in on a Friday night for my induction and ds was born on Saturday. Saturday night I walked around and the ward was empty. I asked a nurse where everyone was and if it was always this quiet. She told me that most people that choose induction dates or C-section dates don't choose weekends because they want to be home for the weekends.

would rather be in for the weekend as both ds and dd are young anyway and think it would be better for whoever is watching them. More people around..lol

My neighbour was asked to go in Sun evening. If necessary gel administered then. If not go home & return Mon am for waters breaking/drip.
