my second labour contractions were very weak for about 7hrs and then came on strong for about 5hrs, hopefully yours will be much different and a lot quicker, i went to hosp when they were 5mins apart

thing is...we've all had really different labours! and what happened to us may not be the same for you

your baby will arrive, sooner or later. one way or another...and LO will arrive when ready and not a moment sooner....have a bath, listen to some music and relax...try a visualisation in the bath...

Well, with my last pg I was up the hospital every other day to be monitored due to pre-eclampsia.

That meant 20 minute stints on the CTG each time. I didnt have any contractions showing whilst having BH - only feotal heartbeat. The only time that movements showed were if i moved or coughed or something. Then, when I was admitted to be induced, I was monitored on the second morning and regular peaks were showing.

Started off at around 40-50 and very quickly went up to the 90's.

hello

Well I've been having contractions according to the CTG machine for over four weeks! I've been told I've got an irritable uterus - uterus, and me are certainly grumpy, don't know about irritable. I can sort of feel them most of the time and sometimes they get painful but every midwife tells me something different, I've been told BH don't hurt, that they can and that they do.

So who knows???? I hope for your sake they lead somewhere!

Rachel

Sorry, should have mentioned I was due Friday and am starting to realise that delivery dates may well be organised by Parcelfarce or similar badly timed couriers!

mmmmmchocolate, if its any help I didn't start to 'feel' my contractions with the 2nd until about 7cm gone dh had to drag me to hospital when I said I had tightenings that weren't very painful every 10 mins (we live half hour from hosp) got there and they checked and I was 5cm gone, they started hurting at 7! was loads different to dd1, where contractions hurt straight away! so fingers x'd your on your way!
