Help! Due today and I'm already up, had breakfast and waiting expectedly. Not quite that bad but this is my first and I don't know where to put myself! So excited and although I know I am unlikely to give birth right on schedule, I can't help but hope! So please tell me what to do today to keep my mind off it, bearing in mind my house looks like someone elses show home due to all the cleaning and nesting! It is unbearable!

Aww, that's so sweet Flowers
Hopefully experienced ladies would have some advice but I would think you could anything you normally enjoy doing (bake something special, go out to one your favourite places, go through your pregnancy photos and make a photo book, download and may be learn several nice lullabies for your LO, etc.)
Best of luck!!!

You can come and clean my house if you like? I'm 38+3 and the nesting thing has passed me by! My yoga teacher was talking about oxytocin starting labour off so do things that make you happy. Watch a favourite funny film, eat yummy things, have a nice bath. Good luck!!

It's also my due date!!! I am exactly the same as you - everything spotless (i even cleaned the kitchen kick boards and cupboard fronts! - I am a weirdo). So have retired to bed to watch Will and Grace box set and eat a large packet of M&M's - nice!! EVERYONE keeps telling me to sleep too. I wish you a happy birth (soon!). x
