TMI: 40+5, orangey-coloured fluid?

Quick question. I am not concerned, obviously, otherwise I would call my midwife immediately. Just a bit curious. This is my second pregnancy.

TMI: for the past month, at least, I've had quite orangey-tinged discharge. I've just been to the loo and my urine seemed really orange/pink (though not bloody), enough to make me do a double-take. Can't tell if it's urine or maybe a slow leak of amniotic fluid beginning? (Probably wishful thinking on my part!) I've read that they can be straw-coloured.

You would think I would have a clue considering this is my second but then, when I said my waters had just broken, the midwife wasn't convinced (apparently they never broke at all then, because there was no other moment at which anything like that seemed to happen!!!)

Again I emphasise, if there is anything that seems at all wrong I will be on the phone to my midwife quick smart. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had anything like this?

could be wee. your urine should not be dark orangey/pink, ideally nice a nd light coloured. i would speak to midwife anyway, in case infection, or she might want to chekc it's not your waters leaking . if you do have a UTI or you're dehydrated or there is an issue, it needs sorting before labour x
