Fool-proof instructions for refitting the cover to a Maxi-Cosi Cabrio car seat needed!

In preparation for arrival of DC2 have cleaned the car seat. Removed covers and washed and dried them (last week when it was sunny) and now a bit stuck!

Have got most of it refitted but stuck at the foot end where the strap hangs out. I remember when removing the cover spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to figure out how the cover came off the strap...unfortunately I was so busy patting myself on the back when I managed it that I didnt pay huge amounts of attention

Does anyone have any instructions or even better a link to help me out?

Ha! I remember it happening to me too! Are you sure you don?t have the instructions in the back compartment? Try inserting the strap first through the cover, then make a loop, so the end of the strap goes under the seat, and if you?ll look there, you?ll see a gap with 2 sharp edges, you just fit the end on those edges. Basically it is just to hold it out of your way, it does not affect the safety of the seat. Not sure I explained it clearly enough, but worth giving a try, lol.

Scully, the instructions in the back compartment? That would be a very sensible place to stash them, however if you knew me you would know I'm not that sensible or forward thinking!!

Ah yes, I do see what you mean in forming a loop but not a functioning one. Think i might have to pop to mothercare to compare my 'finished' one with a new one on the shelf!!

Hehe, good luck, this is how I figured out how to put it back, by visiting the Mothercare. I also displaced my instructions, just like you.
