Hello this was in the Telegraph motoring secton on saturday, someone hold me back from Honest John!!!!!!

From the car clinic a letter from a lady.

'Last year, my daughter bought a 2006 mazda3. Its a very nice car and is fitted with EU approved child seat brackets.( I TAKE IT SHE MEANS ISOFIX ) All was fine when the infant was in a bassinet type carrier but now, eight months later, he's grown and has to travel in a rear-facing child seat in the rear of the car. the front seat has to be fully forward to accommodate the child seat, which leaves no room for adult front seat passenger.'
She goes on to tell Honest John how must money they would have for a new car. She want advice about buying a larger car, not what she gets!

NOW THIS IS THE ANSWER FROM HONEST JOHN, THE CAR EXPERT!!!!!!

'I don't understand why your daughter is using a rear-facing child seat when she can use a forward-facing seat in the back - and the child will be a lot happier.'

Arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's using a rear facing car seat because she likes her childs spinal cord attached to its brain, and that it stays that way!

And i dont think children are happier in front facing seats, they are happier in the larger group 1 seats, even better rear facing as the view is so much better.

We can but pray that this lady takes no notice of this wally!

we have a britax 2 way elite rear facing for our 2 and a half year old

for info speak to very knowledgeable ladies at in car safety centre, milton keynes
