Audi Q7

Anyone got one? Any advice on whether it is a good family car?

We've just got one.

I loathe and detest it.

It's DH's dream car.

It's screams "I'm an arrogant git and I don't care about you or the environment!"

I crashed it 5 days after we bought it. It took an age to get fixed because Audi spare parts for it take for ever.

It's got a reasonable boot but nothing like as good a space as our old Renault Espace.

It's got cubby holes and hidey holes scatter around the cabin which is good for storage, I'll give it that.

The heated seats set me thrush off (OK, I just made that bit up but still....they could!)

Visibility out the rear is pants and drives me nuts.

The Sat Nav and all other controls are complex and distracting.

Out of 10, I'd give it 3.

But I hated it on sight, so maybe not the best person to offer an opinion MY DH would poo-poo all I have said and tell you it's the most beautiful car he's ever owned.

..... oh dear ..... I rather like them ...? Was choice between that, Volvo XC 90 or Landrover Discovery. Need big car (7 seater) with 4WD.

I'd say Disco... just been revamped for 2010, looks rather glam ,whereas XC90 has looked the same for years! Q7 looks nice but just seems unecessarily huge.

What Doodlez said, but then I hate 4x4's and only drive the bloody thing for safety should another prat in their 4x4 hit us.

We went for a Q7 and so far I love it. ...
no way can you get 3 seats across back row though so we have bought a "Multimac" which should do the trick.
