Cybex Sirona - Advise needed for an unhappy owner

I have the Cybex Sirona for nearly 1 month, and I have a major problem with it: my son (18 m) doesn't seem to be confortable at all in it. The problem is that his head is not in alignment, completely twisted. I have used (and still using) 2 other car seats (namely Cabriofix and a Baby Confort 0-4y forward facing car seat that we use when we are staying at grandparents) prior the the Sirona, and DS has always been OK, in a straight position. Note that I used the seat in Back position as DS is not too keen about the shield (but he kind of tolerates it).

I have checked and double checked the instructions and videos, I indeed have left 2 fingers between DS's shoulders and head support, I have tried to fit him deeply in the seat, less deeply etc... but to date, I have never seen DS in what should be the expected potation, i.e. with the head laying upright on the head support.

Has anyone having the Cybex Sirona had a similar problem ? and how did you eventually fix it ? I mean, normally, I guess I would change the car seat for an other brand, but considering the price, you will understand that I am quite reluctant... I dont want to post a bad review about the Sirona seat as the problem may be due to a misuse, but this is not the dream car seat that I was expected, and I must say that I am not impressed, and fairly disappointed.

We have one. We use rear facing so without a shield. DD is 21 months.

Can you post a photo as I'm struggling to understand what you mean?

My first question would be, where did you buy it from?

Was your little boy seated in it prior to purchase?

We use the Sirona (RF) for 22 month DS and I can't quite picture what you mean. I bung him in it and do up the straps and tighten and that's it. He's very comfy in it, his head looks 'straight' and safe and just, you know, normal in it. Is it possible your seat is faulty???

New mum2b and considering the Sirona, but no one seems to buy it from birth why is that? i know it can't clip onto a pram, is that the reason?
