Happily 100% sure we want an erf seat (we don't drive much or spend much money on our baby. ... Everything so far second hand... But why would we not want the safest kind of car seat? !)

We've looked in a couple of shops but not actuality find any erf seats.
Our car is a kia ceed so not massive and the deathbeds aren't very long.

What would you all recommend and where can you buy them?
He's 9 months old and 9.44kg.

Securatot website; give them a call to talk about what suits you best, really helpful

The In Car Safety Centres have a very good reputation.

I've never been though, so only going in the recommendation of friends.

Thank you! Think we might have to do a long haul to Milton Keynes!

Check out "rear facing the way forward" or "rear facing for toddlers" on Facebook.

The Lady on there sells ERF seats and has hundreds of pictures and comparisons of different seats and is also able to advise what will fit your car.

Kiddicare sell ERF seats - they tend to be on the big retail parks.

I went to Mamas&Papas recently. They'd just been on the erf training and were quite knowledgeable. The only thing was the lack of choice. They only had about 4 to choose from so other retailers might be better for choice depending on what seat you want.

I have just bought the Joie iAnchor and I absolutely love it! I did quite a bit of ERF research beforehand as I wasn't happy that my 20 month dd was FF so wanted a seat that I had the option to ERF as well as FF if all didn't go well but she loves being RF again and I just have a mirror so I can see what she's up to. Would recommend.

Thanks all. I've not seen any in mainstream retailers so that's good to know.
I think I prefer the ones that are just rear facing and up to 25th?
