Anyone have a Honda FRV or KiddyGuardian Pro or both? Narrow car seat advise needed

whilst I and dd love her Kiddy Guardian Pro it is quite bulky around the head area. Will soon need a group 1 for ds but if I get another Kiddy there won't be comfortable room in the middle seat for an adult, which was the whole reason for getting an FRV

Anyone recommend a group 1 which is narrower at the top, or anyone have an FRV and if so which car seat combos do you have?

Dd is 3, ds 14 months
