Car seats

ERF to fit in Ford Fiesta?

I would like to get an rear facing car seat once my DS has grown out of his baby seat, however I have a fiesta (non-Isofix) and so space is going to be really tight. Has anyone got any experience of this and found a car seat that didn't require the front passenger seat to be pulled so far forward it couldn't be used? I would ideally like there to be a recline option as well for when we use it in another (bigger) car for longer journeys. Thanks.

I have a klippan kiss in a vw polo which is a small car. It is birth to 18 kg and the middle recline for one year olds is comfy for sleeping. Space is tight in the passenger seat but it is still useable.

Sorry to hijack KatandKit I love the Kiss concept. Thinking of selling current infant seat and base and getting a kiss if any DC3 happens.

Is it compatible with any pushchairs etc please (in the back of my head I have graco in my grey matter?!)

No i don't think it is. It does have wheels on it though to make getting from house to car easier but i don't think it is travel system compatible. If it were then it would be with a graco as i think the seat used to be called graco duologic or something like that.

I have a Ford KA as our second car, ordinarily we have the Britax TWE in it but our Klippan KISS also fits well and it is a fab seat, definitely my fav out of the two we have.

Sorry also to say that the seat in the KA is not so far forward our legs touch the dash, hubby is tallest at about 5'10 so we are not very tall people.

KISS reclines.

I've also just got a Axkid Mini- on first impressions it looks slightly more compact than my Kiss - very impressed with it- great shoulder adjustments and brilliant fitting and takes you right up to 25kg :)
