We've ordered one.....for the same reason! It hasn't arrived yet & neither has the person to go in it so I can't give you any help I'm afraid, but watching with interest.

My DD has one of these for her son.

Would highly recommend, especially with iso fix base. Very easy to use and baby has always been happy in it.

So plumped for this in the end. Dont know if made the right decision but do kind of like the fact that it is a bit different. Everyone I know seems to have a maxi cozi.

They are a really good company, they make a whole range of rear facing seats for children up to 25kgs (about 4-6 years).

If I was buying baby seats all over again I would chose a BeSafe one over Maxi Cosi.

Have you looked at their website, especially this bit www.besafe.com/en/Rear-facing-5-x-Safer

We got one too. Baby not due to December but looks great. Much more padded than Maxi Cosi and we needed compatability with Uppababy Vista so these were our main choices. Was recommended by a number of places as being safer than Maxi Cosi as 5 point as opposed to 3 point harness.

We've got one and love it. Glad we went for it over the maxi cosi which everyone else seems to have.
Only thing that has annoyed me is the plastic scratches easily but ds now 5 months and very happy in it.

Yep- it is one of the safest on the market.

Good to read all your comments so far, thank you.
Feel very confused, feel the Be Safe is the better option but as you say Bodicea everyone has a Maxi Cosi! Anyone with a BeSafe are you 100% happy with the system?

We have this and the erf one for ds1. It's great BUT it is so so heavy. I'm 8 weeks post cs and can barely lift it with chunky 98th centile ds2 in it.
I just end up leaving it in the car and getting ds out.

We are, would definitely buy again.

We got one, but use seatbelt rather than isofix as our car is too old to have isofix!

Very happy with it. Feels safe, and the little magnets in the straps that hold them out of the way when you're putting baby in are a nice touch.

Hi have been interested to see these comments on here as also have the izi go besafe and am having real problems with it the lower straps are digging into my daughters legs as is the clasp she's only 3 months and 5.5kg so not a particularly large baby and now everytime she goes into she screams the whole journey it looks really uncomfortable I was thinking maybe we're doing something wrong any ideas?
