Aaaaghhhh! Honda CRV HELP!!

Someone help me please??

We bought a Honda CRV (52) thinking it would be a good option for our kids. I'm now thinking it was a bad move but we can't afford to change.

Does anyone know if there is ANY car seat that fits in the rear centre seat?

We have a 9 year old, a tiny 2 year old and a 6 month old, so need at least 2 car seats.

I think the cabriofix should go in the middle for your youngest, fixed directly by the seatbelt (ie not using any of the bases).

The Besafe kid (a rear facing seat) goes in the middle according to their website and goes up to 18kg, so age 4.

I haven't looked at any others, but we have a besafe izi on one side and a cabriofix in the middle in our newer crv.

I'm not sure what your oldest would need, but we can squeeze an adult in the 3rd seat so something narrow might fit.

Do watch out for buckle crunch though.

Have a good look on the manufacturers' websites, or find a decent independent shop who will take the time to check for some.

Also, DH spends a bit of time on an owners forum. It might be worth joining something like that and asking.

One of the mums at toddler group has a britax baby safe that she has in middle of her 53 CRV. I have no idea if it is fitted properly as have only ever seen her taking it out as i pass by. It looks like its on a base which being in the middle i assume is the belted one.
If buckle crunch is a problem then try a britax first class for 2yr old as it has an alternative belt routing to avoid this problem.

I have a CRV, I've not used 3 seat sin it yet but know the manual says if you have an isofix seat in the left or middle positions you cannot use the seatbelt in the left/middle position so our besafe izi combi is in the right hand rear position. I've managed to sit between it and the maxicosi cabriofix and between it and the kiddi guardian so I think a belted maxicosi baby seat would fit but not with an isofix base
