Not cheap sorry. thats about the same price you would pay in most places for that type of grill. We have one of those but are changing to a Cadac this year as we can BBQ on that as well.

I have one of these www.riverswayleisure.co.uk/ProductDetails.aspx?StockId=-6547&Category=2000621 and a single burner thing for when I need it.

I use this all the time, the lid is a large wok that can be used on the burner. The griddle plate is great for cooking bacon, sausages, burgers or chicken on and the burner itself is used for boiling the kettle and using the camping toaster on.

It all packs together in a bag as well that is handy and I even use it at home if I can't be bothered to get the barbecue out.

Ooh thanks Dusty. What would you recommend? 2 adults, 3 wee kiddies. budget not too much of an issue, size probably is? dh will likely cook and he likes gadgety cool things.
he's enthralled with a storm kettle atm.

Any suggestions for me?

we have one of those, works well, though toast making needs careful attention. Is reasonably small to pack up imo.

Well the Cadac I want here is like mrspnut but with longer legs as I prefer to be able to stand while cooking. Tis about £100 though so not cheap.

The cooker you linked to is fine. We've had ours for 4 years now. The Cadac is great though as you can even cook a chicken on it

Ah, it needs to un-knock-overable.

I was thinking that the campingaz one on a low backpackers table might do the trick.

I might see if I can get a better price on it elsewhere.

Thanks for your links, where do you all tend to shop for stuff?

I check out the local suppliers and also online.

I use our cadac on the spare table so I can stand, we don't have room for the big one in our car (we were camping with a ford Ka when we first got it )

I usually look online and at the smaller places locally then try and find someone to price match if I can.

Looks like for £32 you don't get the bag though (maybe I just missed it). We have one which didn't originally come with a bag and it cost us about £8 to get one. Handy to have a bag to keep it all together.
