Has anybody ever joined two inner pods together?

Just wondering if it would be possible to do, I don't see why not really but am looking for reassurance.

We have a Royal Avignon 6 which we really like, only problem is that the sleeping pods are 3x2. Now that we have used the tent we realise that we would prefer 1x4 and 1x2 as sleeping arrangements. I was thinking of getting somebody clever who sews better than me to link two of the current pods together.

I can't think of any reason not to do this but perhaps there is some glaringly obvious reason why this would be utter madness and ruin the tent.

What do you reckon?

I can't see why it would be a problem. I am planning on making our large bedroom into 2 smaller ones but its going to be fiddly!
