We have booked a static caravan for 4 nights over the easter hols (mid april), it says it has background heating in bedrooms, gas fire and towel rail. We are in Scotland by the way, how cold is it likely to be. Any tips on how to make holiday as comfortable as possible.

sounds like it'll be toasty if it has heating, and the gas fires get really hot.
dont forget to take a small box of esentials like washing up liquid, tea towel, cloth, sponge, kitchen roll/loo roll and all the stuff you'd expect, but wont be there, and will cost you a small fortune to buy again!

It might get a bit chilly at night when the heating clicks off, caravans lose the heat really quickly.

I would take some cozy blankets to supplement the bedding provided and slippers for the mornings so you don't have frozen feet waiting for the gas fire to heat up the living room.

Salt and pepper.
mugs.
good knife.
your own chopping board.
your digital box or DVD player for the evenings.
