My DH is a camping equipment retailer and at this time of year takes delivery of the new season tents. He is quite impressed with the quality of the Vango Albany tent range. (4,6 and 8 berth). He can usually tell when he pitches them for display whether he's going to get a load of "after sales problems" (which I think is shopkeeper speak for "it's a git to pitch!") From the comments he's made this range seem to be well thought out! This is praise indeed, my DH is a harsh critic of tent designers! Here's a link!

Nice. I'mm looking for a nice family tent (coming to terms with the fact that my wonderful lightweight North Face tadpole is not going to be used with ds!). Does your dh have any recs for one that is the same sort of layout as the 400 but bigger? As in 2 pods you can take the dividing wall out from in between and a large living space you cann get a table in etc for when if it pisses it down?
