I am soooooo excited I am going to book campbestival It is small - about 10,000 and so brill for kids. Me and a friend and our dh's and kids are going. She has just bought tent HOW AMAZING IS THAT. We are also taking our diddy Cath kidston tent, plus I have a proper gas powered camping fridge

I am so excited I am going to pack piles of fancy dress clothes and party clothes for the kids - loads of sparkly pink. WIth pink cowboy boot style wellies.

Actually correct that I will be taking loads of cool fancy dress for us too. I really fancy a fabby ball gown style thing with wellies for me

or bestival ( the bigger version of campbestival ) where im going with loads of single mum friends and our hoards of kids!!

also Work House Festival, Shambala and big chill are in my opinion the best for kids and families.
( but as i work in the industry in terribly biased!!)

hmmm...im not sure on the prices, £20 for 5-17 yr olds?

i do like the sleeping-bag-hill-sliding, i thought that was a secret scout camp activity!!

I would liek to see more covered/hard standing areas in case of bad weather, but maybe i didnt read the whole website!!

I'd love to do a festival this year- but I actually want to see decent bands. Is Glastonbury a big no-no with small children?

We're off to V festival (Saturday only) but are sooo excited. Luckily we're not taking the kids (only our 2nd night away in 5 years). Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait.

Did I say I couldn't wait.

Glad you weren't offended, oops - didn't quite mean it to sound the way it did!
