Bushbaby Premier/Elite - worth the £££?

Looking for some advice - hoping to buy a back carrier soon for our DD. Have looked online and the best reviews seem to be for BushBaby. Also in our local (small and expensive) baby shop, they looked really sturdy and supportive. Firstly does anyone know the difference between the Elite and the Premier? The Elite seems to be £40 more - why? Also - generally, are they worth the money? I'm not very big (5'4'' and smallish build); will it fit me? Can you go anywhere to try them out compared to other carriers? (John Lewis?) And are they a good buy? We hope to go for long walks/hikes......Advice please!! Thanks!

We had a bushbaby, can't remember which one and it was worth the money, ours was used for hiking and did the job well, dp even ran up a very steep hill with dd in the back once! I also managed to sell mine on for £70.

ours was ok - the adjustable back bit kept poking me in the back though so try before you buy if possible. TBH my babies were all so big it was never easy to lug them around on my back. DH coped fine with it.
I tried a carrying cloth and that was a lot more comfortable, but more awkward to tie and obviously not very pratical.

It did sell well on ebay - I got £50 for a 5 year old carrier in VGC.
