Ber-luddy hell! Eurocamp early booking discount places just about sold out!

We phoned Eurocamp this evening to try and book now for 2008 to get our discounts.

There were no discounted places left on the site that we wanted, and very few anywhere else! boo hoo!

Even though we booked as late as the end of October last year and still had the discount, there is very little left now at the end of August.

So if you want to go with Eurocamp next year to one of their bestsellers, or even to one of their less best sellers, I'd get on the phone pretty soon. The August discounts expire tomorrow night anyway (you don't say)

The nice lady on the phone said that bookings were up 150% on this time last year.

This wet summer has LOT to answer for - it's going to cost us a lot next year!

The last 3 holidays I have taken in France I have booked direct to the campsite, and saved myself an ABSOLUTE fortune - probably half the cost.
Tip. Find the campsite that you like the look of, and look for the campsites website. Most of the big sites have their own website and you can book direct, on line, no hassle.
It's not gone wrong yet.

Is it only the disocounted places that are booked up?

We were going to book (full price) when our Tesco vouchers come in Nov...

We've booked ours to Brittany for two weeks at the end of August 2208 and were told we had the last discounted tent on site.

Don't know if everyone has cottoned on yet but you can get cheap hols over Easter. Easter is so early this year that the school holidays are 3 weeks or so later in April. We got a week with Canvas in Dunreill , Holland for less than £350. That's for a 3 bed luxury mobile home with free entry to the onsite theme park and 2 hrs a day free entry to the indoor waterpark which is one of the largest in Europe.

Nikki, we're going there in Oct half term with Eurocamp so I'll post a review and let you know! £140 for 4 nights for 4 of us! hey!!!

For really cheap deals - Camping Life ahs a site in Italy at Lake maggiore (in brochure but not on their website strangely) which looks gorgeous and it's £680 for 2 weeks for 2 adults and children under 16 in August (last fortnight in Aug)!!! taht's in achalet ot sleepo 5! You'd need to fly drive though but you can pay with tesco vouchers and then book your car hire with Avis and use more tesco vouchers nearr the time! Also had cheap prices for their campsite in POrtugal near parai de Luz.

We've booked for italy - venice for next year but had to pay full price cos of tesco vouchers!
Clangers is right tho about booking direct, I would if I didn't have my tesco deals. The site we stayed in this year in Brittany was cheaper in Euros for the 2 weeks than the price we paid in £s! (well, tesos paid!). Although, our Duinrell break was loads cheaper with Eurocamp than direct with Duinrell. Shop about!

We booked on the 29th and had no problem, but then we've booked a week in Holland over Easter, I'm guessing not so popular.

Duinrell is fab, we were there at Easter. Going to Beekse Bergen this time.
