Outwell Hartford Canopy - Help!

We've just bought a canopy for our XXL, but see no instructions as to how to attach it to the tent - wondered if anyone had any experience. I can find instructions on how to put it up, it is just joining the 2 together I am unclear on.

Hi, it has clips (two I think) down each side of the end that goes to your porch, clip these on but try to keep the clips quite low down the porch poles as this will help to prevent the top of the canopy coming off the top of the porch, which it efinatly will! we overcame this by buying some little bulldog clip type things from halfords to clip it onto the top of the porch, also invest in some deltas, if the wind gets up these will keep it more secure than the usual pegs, it does bocome a bit of a windtunnel in the wind but it is a fab bit of kit!

did you peg out your porch, or keep the walls rolled back, I am thinking that the canopy attaches right up to the dome?

We pegged out the porch. The canopy doesn't go right up to the dome, it just fits over the front of the porch.

North Yorkshire - just outside Settle. We are off Thu-Sun next week without DC! Have bought a Hartford L for the 2 of us, got it and canopy at same time on ebay. We are trying the L - if it is quicker to pitch than the XXL we will use it as a weekend tent for the whole family, if not much different will sell on the L and keep the canopy

Oh we're off Thurs to Sun too but all five of us. Selling ours next year as it took a bad bashing in severe Gales on the IOW at the end of July, the poles and outer stood up fantastically but some stitching at the top of the inner has come undone.
