Has anyone got a Coleman Cedar Creek tent?

I've just bought a cedar creek, but haven't used it yet. We are going away on the 25th of the month (first time camping), should be fun trying to put it up. Would also like to know what people think of it.

It looks great doesn't it, and sounds fairly easy to put up with all the colour coded bits. Also the living area looks quite big. I've got an old tunnel tent at the moment but want something we can stand up in.

Let me know what you think after your camping trip, hope the weather improves!!

Really? What appeals particularly about this compared to other tents then? There seem so many out there, and i know you're a camping guru

Oh what a shame, would love to have read that. Maybe tomorrow you could try again!!

There are a lot of deals on at the moment, it seems to be reduced in lots of places. I've wanted a new tent for ages but DH isn't into camping and i couldn't convince him to spend the money but last weekend the zip broke on our tent so i'm finally looking at new ones! I'm trying to find a shop that might have one of these up on display.

You've almost convinced me. I still would really like to see one up on show though. Wonder how I can find that out, apart from ringing every single camping shop.

I went to my local Millets on Friday but they have been out of stock since May . He rang round several others and it was the same story. I read on uk camping that they were selling it there for 125, even though it was 185 on the label.

One quick question, I e-mailed the link for this tent to a camping friend of mine and she mentioned that it wasn't double skin. What does this mean and is it important? Presumably it means only one layer????

just bought one- try norwich camping. they're online, free postage, and the cheapest I've found at 169.00
