any camp site recommendations ladies?

just bought our first ever tent!! just wondered if anyone knew of any good camp sites in the north west. we live in warrington and don't want to go too far for our first trip ( just in case I hate it and want to come home!!! )

Hayfield has a really nice club site that welcomes non-members, but you might need to find out how soggy it is!
also a lovely one a Bala, don't know if they are too far for you.
