How do I mend a tear in the inner tent?

As it was quite wet at the week-end our 6 yr old dd and her 2 friends spent a lot of time in our tent jumping around in the bedrooms, playing prisoners etc. At times they were even joined by 2x12 year old girls.
At the time I didn't mind cos they were happy and it left the adults lots of time to lie around the living area drinking lots of red wine.

However when we took it down I noticed a tear in the inner bed bit just at the seam. Its about 3 inches long and the material looks frayed. It doesn't look as if it could be sown easily as it would distort the shape and fitting of the inner.

Is there anything I can do? Can you sow on material over the top etc? Is there a tent repair shop?
Please help as it took me ages to find this tent that suited our needs, within budget etc.I'm sure I won't find another so easily.

I think you need a tent repair kit, they have lots of different coloured patches and glue for you to stick on - I'd suggest you did both sides too.

glad you had a good time btw - I like the sound of the red wine!

Millets / Blacks / Yeomans shops give them a quick ring first to get them to put one aside for you!

they should all be able to help you and if you flutter your eyes in the right direction they will even give you step by step instructions on what to do

here you go and at £5.99 a helluva lot cheaper than a new tent!
