putting a tent up in the rain

We're due to go off camping tomorrow night at Todpuddle. Looking at the weather forecast it may be raining when we get there. You put the inside of the tent up first and then the outer layer.
What I don't know cos its a new tent and I've never had this design before is - does the inside dry quite quickly?
Im sure the rain won't be that bad but just in case I need to get my head round going into a wet tent and whether there will de drips in the night?

oh crap - I'd honestly wait until it wasn't raining to get your inner up if you possibly can - if not then do it quickly

If you have good ventilation then the inside should dry fairly quickly and it won't drip.

very at you going to Tolpuddle - I love Dorset.

it will dry quickly but try to wait for a lull- and if it downpiurs and you have to run for it, dont do what family near us did and just elave the inner out on the field- cover with the fly first!

Peachy we've just been to a camping exhibition to try and look at a Norfolk Lake but we can't see one anywhere! Yeomans have one left in the warehouse!

We did like the Bear Lake though, it has green tartany type curtains!

very classy tent - even though it was green

They have the norfolk lkae at a display nearish us (near mum, taunton) its really nice- we were tempted and as you sayit's green LOL! In fact think my friend bought one (against my advice in her case) a few weeks ago.

Can remember the tour well- did you have any general questions about the tent? Its very sapcious, and I like the set up with the third bedroom that satnds alone, with plenty of apce to move between the rooms. very impressive!

It just felt like 'quality' when you walked into it - warm when it's cold outside and lovely and cool when the sun came out - yes we saw the sun today!

The Sun Valley 8 is the same setup just the conventional material.

I just like to walk round a tent before we think about buying - clearly we aren't going to do anything this year, but I do like looking

may well have to find one pitched this summer and invite ourselves in to have a look round!

are you all prepared for next weekend yet?

I'd buy it I think, except I only go for quick pitch ones now- Dh can now pitvch the Ontario alone in 20 minutes LOL!

Not a thing doen for next weekend!! we're going to Mum's (somerset) for the night before and to collect them which breaks journey down a bit
