Red Shoot campsite in new forest or South Lytchet Manor camping park - which is best?

Has anyone been to these campsites? We can't decide which one to book... it's me, dh and dd (nearly 3yrs)
Not sure how family friendly Red Shoot would be - dh concrned that it might not be as it's set behind a pub... but we love the idea of hiring a bike and cycling through the forest there (assuming u can hire child seats too!) can't get through to red shoot today but need to book very soon. Both are within driving distance of beach so that great... I know there's loads to do around poole if weather turns bad but not sure about new forest...

what did you decide? we are looking at going in half term - can you recommend somewhere?
