Due to things happening here that is causing financial meltdown - all my lovely camping gear has to go!

Slumberlux Vancouver 10 tent - sleeps 10 apparently, but would say 8 for comfort. Bought June for £120 inc del, would like £100 to include delivery (only used once)

Aluminium folding table - its not the 70x70x70 one, its the larger one. Cost £38 new, would like £30 inc del. (Used once at a car boot!)

Set of 10 Delta Pegs - cost £1 each, will sell all 10 for £7.50 inc postage

EHU - 3 sockets, used once. £50 inc del

Will be back with more - but thats all i can remember lol

Oh no, Jarm.....

Is there any way at all you can afford to keep the basics ie your tent.

It may well be your best chance at a holiday next year - you sound as though you are going to need it

beckybrastraps · 09/01/2007 11:20

Yes please then. Ours is tiny.

Looks ideal for you UCM - the bedroom has the dividing curtain that we were talking about.

Have you sorted out your housing yet JARM? - sorry if I've missed that thread.

Report
JARM · 09/01/2007 12:32

nope, housing still not sorted but shouldnt be long hopefully.

if i can sell all this, and the car, we will just about scrape a deposit on a private rental - only issue then will be paying the rent lol

I liked the tent because we could have Jessi on a single blow-up and Rebecca in a full size travel cot on one side with LOADS of room to spare, and a double height king size air bed on the other for me and DH!

It really was a lush tent, especially for starting out, gutted to be getting rid!

oh might be interested in the tent! will ask DH tonight. i have £40 in my paypal account so would just have to find the other £60 and camping is the mostly likely holidya for us this year.

how big is it when folded?

UCM · 09/01/2007 13:50

Sorry Jarm, should have added an explanation. He doesn't want another frame tent as we have one (with bent poles). Wants one of them ones with rods this time.

UCM · 09/01/2007 13:51

You will sell that immediately on Ebay and if you use that link, possibly for more than 100.00

JARM · 09/01/2007 13:52

katz - its 2 holdall type bags - one with the tent and one with the poles.

whats sort of car do you have?

We got the tent, sleeping bags, quilts, pillows, full size travel cot, cooker etc etc in the boot of a 3dr hyundai accent with a roof box - oh, and camping chairs, the baby walker and a non folding table - we were packed out lol

The tent has the main sleeping area with a curtain divide, a living area with the doors at the front and a "porch" area at the back where we stored food/bags etc that we didnt need lying around.
