Camping

Do you get an accurate look at the weather a week in advance?

Getting a bit nervous as the weather forecast says rain for every day next week in Cornwall! Don't think I can face a week of wet camping! Anyone had better weather than expected? J

I check the weather a lot. I have noticed that it is only really accurate about 24 hours in advance. Even then they can only really predict that there will be rain clouds, not whether they will drop their rain. I have also seen many times recently that there has been rain predicted, which has come to either nothing or very little. Its been annoying me, as the fields are very hard and dry, and I have a hungry horse so I've been hoping for rain! I think there is a god chance you will get a mostly dry week.
