We're off next week to Ceredigion for 7 nights and madly making lists and planning! Todays task is food. I've made a rough menu and was wondering if it sounded okay. We've got a two ring cooker, a tripod bbq and I'm packing the slow cooker for days when we're out and about so will be home late.

Saturday - Pasta bologna (frozen from home)

Sunday - whole chicken, salad and baby pots

Monday - Chicken and chorizo risotto

Tuesday - BBQ ( hotdogs and burgers)

Wednesday - Pub meal

Thursday - Pulled pork, corn and baked pots

Friday - BBQ (chicken, kebabs and savoury rice)

I'm planning big breakfast so fry up, something on toast and then light lunches (sandwiches, crackers etc)

Does this sound okay?

That sounds like a gourmet camping trip to me!

My menu would include one meal from home (bologna use and fesh pasta so it cooks quick), two BBQs, two Fish & Chips, and two pub meals. Not a cheap week of eating, but I don't know how I'd store all the stuff for your menu, let alone how I'd cook it on a camping stove while supervising kids and trying to drink wine!

Have fun, and be ready to ditch the cooking an wad to the take away/pub if it all gets too much :)

I'm hoping it'll all be fairly easy to cook. It's only the risotto which will be stand and cook type affair. Chicken and pork will go in the slow cooker so it just a case of cooking the potatoes. DH will barbecue so those will be my nights to put my feet up totally lol. Unfortunately wine is off the menu as I'm almost 5 months pregnant! Storage wise we've got cool boxes and I'm going to take the chicken with us frozen in the cool box so by Sunday it should be defrosted to cook. There's a supermarket 5 minutes away so we'll be able to pop out fairly easily to grab supplies
