Camping near sandy surface

I'm camping next week on Il de Ré in France on a campsite near the beach and I'm starting to wonder whether I'll need different pegs? There is a possibility of us being near dunes, or at least a little bit of a sandy surface.

Advice please?

We have camped on sandy / sand dune sites and normal pegs that came with the tent have been fine.

Thanks anotherday. That's another item ticked off the list!

Consider taking an extra ground sheet to peg down for your outdoor space, so you're not traipsing sand into the tent. This is what the French do. And take a broom!

Chippy - great idea!
Would you peg it by the entrance, to make an extended entrance?
Soft brush is on list! Home bargains here I come!

Yes, just take it right up to the tent.
